I was just struck by the secrets which we force children to keep. The one thing that if known would separate them from friends, church and sometimes even family. In this instance it was a family situation, but it could have easily have been a parents abuse or alcoholism. Sad that children learn so easily what is considered good and normal as opposed to what is considered different and bad. Even these secret bearing children tend to be as intolerant of other children who have divulged their secret. Perhaps the secret is racial, someone passing as white, or gender/sexual Identification based, the child has Gay or Lesbian tendencies, familial such as this example, religious, the child is Jewish or Muslim. Someday we may learn true tolerance of things which are different which do not affect us and learn to let those differences live and thrive. Otherwise good film, short and sweet, heartfelt.

Motive?
Exceedingly personal story... well made, etc. But why here? I wonder.
